Scrapbooking-SMASH Booking (Loads of pictures!)

Hello all! So today, I’d like to share with you my favorite hobby. Scrapbooking.ย It’s been going on for about two years or so. About the same time that my boyfriend and i got together. Coincidental? Fate? I have no idea.. but it just so happens that the first book I started and finished was one about him and I. Specifically, the books I use for my hobby are known as SMASH Books.ย  These books are genius! And so stylish. They appeal to younger ages (late teens) and young adults. But also to older ages as well, so it makes it more fun! And when I go to Joann Fabrics and Michaels, I always get shocked/pleasant looks from the older women in the scrapbook aisle๐Ÿ˜ฌ.
So since I started smashing/scrapbooking I’ve purchased 14 of these books. Looky here:

20140711-221915-80355805.jpg Those are just the ones I have color coordinated and shelved. One I made for my sister last Christmas, made her tear up a little ๐Ÿ˜. Anyway, I’ve completed three of them already. (Red Doodle for family, Cutsey Purple for my relationship-book one-,and the Retro Blue for my relationship-book two-

My books are my greatest passion among many. They allow me to look back on all of the good times I’ve had with those I hold dear to me. They showcase other passions of mine including photography, art, and writing. They are a reflection of myself, my feelings, my love for those that become part of my books. I love them. So I’d like to share a few pages of my first one ever.

This book I started when he and I first got together, and it stretched to our 6 month anniversary. The second one is right after that until our one year. The third one (still being worked on) will be finished by our year and a half. I plan to continue the books in 6 month increments. They’re perfect. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I will be posting the second book in a few days (or tomorrow!)

Hope you enjoyed!

Dating Bucketlist

So today, I thought that I’d share with you some of the things I wish to achieve and experience in my relationship. But first, let me tell you a little about my relationship.

His name is Thomas, we’ve been together for about a year and a half and, although some people disagree, I am in the perfect place. He’s my best friend. We met in high school, 2010, my freshman year. I heard his name a lot, but no one seemed to know a great deal about him. So I forgot about him. The next year I was walking through the library in the center of our school when I saw him sitting in a chair. For some reason, he caught my attention. I found myself staring. And when I realized that he noticed, I continued. Assuming I weirded him out, I didn’t approach him. And again, I forgot about him. Fast forward a year or so and I’m starting my first job at a local McDonald’s. He worked there too. So naturally we attracted each other and became friends. Some time after, I realized that I liked him more than a friend. So we hung out more. Then, one day, we got comfortable with each other and started dating. I had no idea what I was getting into. After months of trial and error, all the things that could have torn us apart. We came out strong, and together. And now we’re moving states together! Which begins my bucketlist.

-move in together
-go bowling
-mini golf
-get engaged
-adopt a pet
-visit a haunted house
-go on a picnic
-spend the day in photo booths
-bake together
-attend a fair or festival together
-go boating
-take a kick boxing class together
-go to an aquarium
-write a book together
-make a song together
-take a train to Chicago
-fly together
-go BASE jumping together
-see the Eiffel Tower
-ride a Ferris wheel
-take dancing lessons
-take a college course together (ex.sign language)
-go on a photo shoot
-go camping
-go to Home Depot and make something for the house!
-go hiking
-game night with Chinese take out and an old movie
-get manicures and pedicures
-go to a planetarium

Aries Daily Horoscope

Via this app

Thursday Jul 10 2014

If all seems lost now, Aries, it is only because you have gotten used to a certain situation and a related state of mind. You have been through the mill in at least one important area of your life – and it has affected you profoundly and deeply. But even though it may seem that the downward trend will continue, it will not. You are not caught up in a whirlwind of despair and trouble. No, the force is with you, despite the fact that it may appear otherwise. Have hope, and be brave. Your life is about to get dramatically better.

Sign main characteristics:

Aries people need to keep physically busy. They accomplish many things simply because of their restless energy. They need to learn how to make constructive use of their energetic efforts. The typical Aries urge is to take on more than can be done reasonably well. Though others may find it difficult to keep pace with an Aries, they are attracted to their animation and spirited personality.

Well, hopefully this is true!

A New Chapter in My Life: Dayton, Ohio

Hello everyone!
So recently it’s been decided that I shall be moving to the Dayton, Ohio area. More so Bellbrook but, to me, it’s all the same. 4 hours away from my hometown, my friend (yes, I have ONE), and my family. I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Went to preschool all the way to graduation with pretty much the same people. Everyone knew everyone and a grade consisted of about 150-300 people. I have never been anywhere besides Niagra Falls, Canada when I was 10. My family never went on vacations, so I never really left Richmond and it’s neighboring cities. Ever. Not only that but it’ll be my first time out of my mother’s house. And, to top it off, I’ll be with my boyfriend, his best friend, and his girlfriend. I’m trading my five person household for a four person Townhome. My anxiety is through the roof about this move. And with the ever changing moving date, it’s quite the dilemma. Dayton is a big city, with it’s population at 141,527 (see here) it is 24.5 times the size of Richmond, at 5,735 (see here). That is a lot of people!
So how am I going to make it in such a big place? I have no idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Possible Sixth Sense or Myth? Trusting the moon.

Hello Again!
So I wanted to talk about the moon today. Many believe it to be nothing more than a mass of rock caught in Earth’s gravitational pull. The big bright thing you see in the sky at night. But others believe it to possess certain spiritual qualities. Some of which, you can sense inside of you. If you’re a night owl like me and the rest of the believers are, this doesn’t come as news to you. However for those that aren’t sold so easily, allow me to explain. According to this site:

“The frequencies emanating from the Moon affect the frequencies of the mental body, i.e. mind of human beings. By โ€˜mindโ€™ we mean our feelings, emotions and desires. The mind consists of the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind. Within the sub-conscious mind we have a number of impressions that are embedded that decide our basic nature and personality. We are however not aware of the thoughts or impressions in our sub-conscious mind.”

The moon plays a huge roll in altering subconscious thoughts. Though intangible, they can be felt by those who are in touch with there spiritual side. What does the moon change in you?

For me, it radiates energy down onto me in my times of weakness. It reminds me of the greater things in life and allows me to stop everything and break every thought down in my head to sort it all out. I make more connections when the moon is at it highest (around 6pm-8pm) than any other time. When the moon is at it’s fullest, I have the most spiritual clarity. With the accompaniment of burning sage and incense, meditation comes fairly easy to my overactive/over analytical mind.

Try it out one night when the moon just seems to be staring at you. It’s trying to tell you something. Give your mind the chance to make a change.

The Bag of All Bags

Hello fello bloggers!

So today I decided, with the help of an herbal friend, that I was going to see how amazing this bag really is.

About two months ago, I came across this bag on Pinterest. It was exactly what I was looking for and it came in a beautiful design. It was the perfect bag. So naturally I researched the hell out of it. And eventually I came to the conclusion that I was 100% buying this bag. No matter the price.

Now in reality, the price wasn’t that bad to begin with. This bag is huge! With three different sections (the center zips up and the two outer sections have a magnetic button) it had the potential to be the ideal travel bag. But things like this are usually too good to be true. So I tried it out. And the only complaint I have is the price. $60 is a lot to my thrifty hippie grunge style. I much would have rather paid $30. But, selavi. Here’s the pic proof of what it can do:

20140710-033526-12926645.jpg26 different outfits.

20140710-033527-12927229.jpgAll of which, fit into the center pocket.

Add my toiletries and done!
